Campaign Highlights - Community Support

Based in Montana City, 406 Recycling offers data-secure responsible recycling for electronics, accepting everything from cell phones to older televisions (CRTs).  This Earth Day the company will formally celebrate its third year anniversary.  In the face of the challenges of 2020, 406 Recycling expanded its community partnerships; assisting the Helena Food Share with their operations, developing a compost route, and hiring more employees with disabilities.

406 Recycling proudly partners with the Helena community organizations West Mont and Family Outreach to provide supported employment opportunities.  The inclusive working environment offers opportunities to learn about the ins and outs of electronics through disassembly. In commitment to environmental stewardship, processed material is only shipped to  R2/RIOSand E-Steward facilities to ensure high environmental stewardship standards are met through the entire end of like recycling process.

"We are proud to employ three persons with disabilities.  They bring excitement and energy to work and are valuable team players.  I encourage any employer to learn more about hiring people with disabilities. We are grateful for their assistance in realizing community and environmental values." Owner Matt Elsaesser.
